The futuaba dot matrix displays in our [[window]] have been found for €5 on a Flohmarkt some while ago but not been activated yet.

The precise model is GP1045A03A, dot matrix with a 256x64 resolution (I think) it is double sided, presumably chained, but the pcbs are exactly the same and for operating them independently some ICs need to be moved around.
